Ralin chuckled at Reckony's witty comeback. Aye, the fairer sex had that effect on men like Reckony and Ralin. Usually it took a lot to really interest Ralin. Oh sure, he'd notice women and note if they were attractive, interesting or not. But he wasn't much of a relationships guy. But there were those few times when he'd had a crush on a girl in school. Like Marisa Edfvak in Ravenclaw. She was a gorgeous spitfire, with dreamy dark eyes and a smile that made Ralin melt...
He chuckled again. "Veelas, the lot o' them mate. I think it's a wee bit o' both tonight. If you need someone t'juggle or tell stories, I'm yer man. Just I don't do singing. I'll be crowd control."
Just then Johnson, more than a 'little' inebriated by this time, had gotten up and was making his way towards the platform again. "Uh Reck...he's at it again. Reck?" But the man was lost in staring at his enchantress again. Johnson was climbing the platform. "Earth to Reck!"
Johnson's mouth was opening...the first note began to form in his throat...
Ralin threw himself at Johnson and tackled the man around his midsection, hurling them both off the stage. It was like watching a bear being derailed by a squirrel.
Johnson started snoring.
"The things I do t'protect yer lady's ears," Ralin muttered, climbing to his feet.

Finally released from her confinement at the Ministry, Echo wanted to get out of her flat in London. At first she was tempted to visit the Leaky Cauldron, but something reminded her of another pub. The Three Broomsticks, although she was a bit hesitant to darken their doorstop, seeing as how the last time she was there, she'd been unveiled as part demon and then arrested. But she'd left her sword there. Perhaps the barkeeper would have it somewhere.
Entirely prepared for the fact that the barkeeper might throw her out, Echo stepped into the pub, letting the warm conversation and bright atmosphere sink into her weighted soul.
She arrived just in time to see a red-headed young man tackle a drunken fellow right before he was about to sing. Making her way past the hubbub, Echo looked about for the barkeeper, but noticed two women waiting at the counter.
"Looks like you have a rough talent night. Is there something wrong with his singing, or does that boy just not appreciate talent?" She asked the two women, hoping they wouldn't recognize her if they'd been there at her arrest.
