Using her considerable influence in the Wizengamot and as a high-ranking member of the Ministry, Siara Brightweather was able to secure the research room for the Black Watch. In an effort to keep their true purpose under wraps, she told the Ministry that she and a group of colleagues were researching defenses for Hogwarts.
"All right people, we have this place to ourself. Let's see if we can find where Mosrael is hiding. What do we know so far?" Siara tapped her wand against her palm, the tall witch was pacing back and forth in front of the others, not unlike teaching a class at Hogwarts.
She conjured a small chalkboard and waved her wand at the chalk. It levitated and began jotting down what she was saying.
"We know from Ralin that she wants the 'silver shard'. And that she gave a riddle to find her: ancient bones of stone clothed in green."
- Silver Shard: purpose/location - Riddle: Ancient bones of stone clothed in green The chalk wrote with a flourish in green.
"Let's use what we can to find out more. We're running out of time!" Siara's hawk-like face was grim but determined. One of her students was missing, kidnapped by the enemy. She would do everything in her power to bring him back. And to make Mosrael regret

CRACK
Echo appeared in the room looking like she'd just come from another battle. Weary from casting the binding spell, Echo took the nearest seat. After catching her breath, the scarred woman waved for everyone's attention. She didn't care anymore that her infected hand was visible now. If they stared or edged away from her, she ignored them.
"Sorry I'm late, but I had to take care of something. I think I have a clue of where Mosrael is. I asked an old...friend...some questions." Her glare told them not to ask for details. The binding spell was a very old one, and strictly against the law today, since it backlashed on the caster, and involved demons. It was a very dangerous spell that could kill the caster if performed incorrectly.
"I think she's in a castle, or something similar. Near mountains. That's all I have but..." Echo thought for a moment, her eyes roaming around the room, finally settling on a stack of file cabinets labeled Land & Property Purchases.
She stood up, ignoring the protest of her injured leg, and grabbed the first stack of files. Echo waved the papers at the others. "Maybe let's try looking through these for recent purchases that fit the description. Something with a castle on the land, or maybe...some type of stone ruins?"
Not waiting to see if the others agreed with her, Echo sat back down and started examining the files.

Reckony watched Echo as she limped across the room, inwardly pondering how the demon-hunter might have spent her morning. She was an intriguing woman, at once awkwardly private and audaciously extroverted. Pike imagined that she had had her breakfast with a side of interrogation. Heaven help whatever sat on the other side of her stare.
"Clothed in green," Reckony offered the assembled group, trying to take his attention off Echo. "Stone clothed in green. What drapes stones? What, she doesn't mean moss now, does she? You know that, that Spanish moss stuff that you see on the trees. Makes them look like they're wearing cloaks. I used to hide behind that stuff when I was surveilling the ladies. Or beating up the junior years. But sometimes that stuff gets on old buildings. Like creeping ivy only much creepier, no pun intended."
Reckony slumped back in his seat, looking over at the parchments Echo had in her possession.
"Any luck?"

Echo nodded absently as Reckony mused over the riddle, her attention mainly focused on the files. Most of them were local land purchases. A farmer in Egeton, a pure-blood family adding more acres to their manor, even the England Quidditch squad had purchased land to make a new practice pitch. Then something caught her eye.
"I think I do have something," she said, pulling the sheaf of papers out. "Listen to this, land purchased in Scotland...some kind of ruins on the property. Hmmm, oh here," she pointed to a section on the parchment. "Castle Innvar of the old pure-blood McDunweald family, close to Loch Innvar. Purchased by...Ranna Nienmorhai. Hey," she frowned, looking up at them. "Isn't that the witch that works in Department of Magical Creatures? Why would she be buying land in Scotland? Maybe it's just a coincidence but..."
Echo remembered the woman; she'd visited Arianna's office while Echo had been there for Ari to study her infection. Ranna had looked over her notes and signed off on a couple, since she was the liason with the magical creatures department, and that's what the ministry considered Echo to be.
But it wasn't her actions that caught at Echo's memory. It was the strange feeling she'd gotten from being around her. Like looking at a veneer face that wasn't quite right. A smile that didn't touch her eyes. Maybe it was just her imagination.
"I think we need to consider this. Has anyone else met Ranna Nienmorhai?"
