It was the perfect plan.
One week after the start of her Hogwarts career, and already Sienna was all riled up. Gryffindor was not how she wanted to spend her 7 years. Granted, she wasn't that excited about being sorted into Slytherin but she had expected it... because of her purebloodedness, because of her connections, because all of her friends were there and because people knew her there! In Gryffindor, it was like she didn't even exist.
Oh, they tried to be friends. Sort of. Sienna caught two of her new roommates trying out her boas when her trunks were sent up to her new room (she had to share. Merlin, she had to share.) One shrill scream had sent them right back to their own beds, never to approach her again.
To top the disastrousness of the week was one of her roommates... that Eden girl. Sienna didn't see her at the sorting, she had been rather numb after being sorted into Gryffindor. She had seen the blonde sometimes while in the common room or in their room, but they never talked to each other... Sienna just didn't like her, for some reason.
Then again, she thought as she placed the galleon into place at the center of the hallway, I don't like any of my Housemates. I don't see why she's such an exception.
There, the last piece was done. With a short giggle, Sienna skipped to the small alcove near the galleon, neatly hidden and watched the events unfold.
Her victim was a fellow first year, from the looks of him. All cheery-eyed and friendly, beaming from ear to ear. Not for long... she thought, seeing him spy the galleon, his eyes opening wide. Just as Sienna suspected, the boy went down to grab the galleon and Sienna immediately gave the thin cord she held a huge jerk.
The galleon came sliding towards her, and the boy unthinkingly ran after it, head down.
SMACK!
Sienna collapsed in giggles as the boy dazedly blinked up at the ceiling, having hit a statue Sienna had spelled to be invisible. One of Michael's very good uses was as a secret spell instructor, and his obedient little sister had learned extremely well.
"Tsk tsk tsk... see where greed gets you? Next time, look before you dive, knucklehead." she told him, giggles still escaping from her mouth.
