MUGGLE STUDIES SYLLABUS This class aims specifically to acquaint wizards and witches who do not have direct contact with Muggles with the way they live. Students will learn about the daily life of an average muggle and how they live their lives without the use of magic.
The class will consist mostly of lecture and example. Assignments will include research notes and essays based on current topic. Muggle Studies may also include hands on activities with muggle appliances as long as functionality is not compromised on Hogwarts campus. At the end of the semester, there will be a research paper based on a topic picked by the student and a multiple choice exam given on muggle paper and written with muggle pencils.
Students are required to be in class on time and ready to learn.
ABSOLUTELY NO MAGIC IS TO BE PREFORMED IN THE MUGGLE STUDIES ROOM. CONSEQUENCES FOR SPELLCASTING, JINXING, CURSING, OR POSSESSION OF MAGICAL ITEMS WILL RESULT IN DETENTION AND CONFISCATION OF WAND OR ITEM.
Required Textbooks - Introduction to Muggle Studies by Edis Bevan - Electricity for Wizards by Lawrence Shock - Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare (Study of Muggle Literature) - History of Muggle Conflict- Michael Bang
