Name: Alecsander Malice Kameren
Age: 24
Birthdate/place: February 23, 1997 / Dunshire, England
Species: Human; Pureblood
Gender: Male
Family: Cedric Kristopher Kameren - Father - Unknown
Rosaline Marie Kameren - Mother - Deceased
Kristopher Curse Kameren - Brother - Hogwarts Potions Master
Max Kameren - Nephew - Nine
Appearance:
Build/height- Six-three, physically fit as the job requires, but not bulkily muscled.
General Description- Tall and broad-shouldered, Alex is an intimidating sight, especially with his characteristic scowl. His skin tone is rather pale, he doesn’t tan easily. Combined with his green eyes and dark hair, the effect is quite striking, and he could be considered handsome… if he smiled more.
Since he was young, he has done everything he could to actively show himself as dissimilar to his family as possible. This includes but is not limited to a preference for muggle dress. He disregards the dress code at work, instead wearing nice jeans or slacks with t-shirts, polo shirts and other collared shirts. This hasn’t earned him any points with the seniors, but after five years, most realize that he’s not going to give in.
He has three Sectrumsempra scars, one on his lower left ribs and arm, one on his left shoulder, and another, longer one, on his right shoulder. The ones on his ribs and right shoulder are newer, roughly a year old, while the other one is nearly three years old, more faded, and doesn’t ache as much. He has other scars, a hazard of being an auror, but none are as noticeable.
Possessions- A year old German Shepherd he received from his brother as a Christmas gift. Alex has never been much of a pet person, but he couldn’t exactly get rid of it. After all, Curse didn’t get rid of the cat Alex had given him the year before. The pup’s name is Rasputin[Rasp]. Alex wouldn’t admit it, but he’s grown attached and fond of the dog.
His wand, apartment, furniture and clothes. Various personal effects. He is also heir to the Kameren Estate, which he has left empty for years, and to the Kameren bank vault. The vault has many old artifacts and much gold, though he’s removed the Dark objects and turned them over to the Ministry. You’d never know his family was once one of the most powerful and rich pureblooded families from looking at this descendant, though.
Personality:
Temperment/Mental Attributes- Alecsander is a highly intelligent wizard who hides his mind behind a veil of sarcastic comments and dark, brooding looks. He has a keen wit but little social ability, and it shows. Alex is a true loner, more by personal design than anything else, though he’s been doing it so long its an ingrained and permanent part of his psychology.
His childhood was initially happy but grew stranger as he grew older and his father grew to be more strange. It was something Alex didn’t understand at the time but started his retreat inwards. If he interacted as little as possible with others, the possibility of hurt would be less. This came to a head the summer after his first year, when his father arranged his mother’s death and held Alex hostage. Alex had been friendly enough before, but after this he drew away and became even more of a loner.
Awkward in social situations doesn’t do him justice, for the real problem is that he speaks his mind, be it bluntly or with a glib quip. This has never gone down well with others, as Alex is not sparing in his opinions, which are nearly always harsh.
He has grown a little over the last five years since graduation, since being forced into a ‘family’ he never suspected he had and was never sure he wanted. He has always been in possession of a strong sense of right and wrong, and a clear, definitive idea of which side of the line he is on. He is fiercely loyal to the few friends and the family he has, as if he is afraid of losing them.

Alecsander Malice Kameren was born the first and only child of Cedric and Rosaline Kameren. He was born during the Second Wizarding War, to his Death Eater father and journalist mother. Cedric was a devoted follower of Voldemort, fighting in several major battles while Rosaline worked and took care of Alex. But just after Alex was a year old, Voldemort was dead, and his supporters were scrambling to cover themselves.
This meant Cedric used all his charm and connections to prevent himself from going to Azkaban, it helped, of course, that no one recalled seeing the suave Ministry employee at the final battle. Soon the family life of the Kamerens was ‘back to normal’, Alex’s early years were happy, in fact, many of his happy memories come from times before he turned six. As he grew older, Cedric grew more and more eager to have him follow in his footsteps-- but Rosaline was determined to have her way, she wanted a happy, loving childhood for her son. It was the first split in an otherwise happy marriage, but it wasn’t the first, and it soon widened to a gulf.
It was with relief that Alex headed off to his first year of schooling, and he truly enjoyed the excitement and wonder of the train ride. The Sorting Hat dithered over his placement for what seemed like years, but in a sudden burst of childish spite he told the Hat that he’d rather be in Ravenclaw than Slytherin, and the Hat immediately announced its choice.
RAVENCLAW!
And indeed, the boy quickly fitting in, his quick mind was put too good use, earning him great grades and a reputation for being one of the smartest students in the school. Despite his basically friendly demeanor, Alex was not terribly outgoing, and so he made friends slowly. One friend he did make quickly was an affable and outgoing boy who took the quieter Alex under his wing and dragged him along wherever he went. This suited Cain quite well, but it wasn’t Alex’s cup of tea. Still, he went along with it.
That summer, however, things changed. Alex came home to a house lacking one crucial member, his mother. He stayed with his father for a few weeks, believing she was away on some investigative assignment. Until one day, Hitwizards showed up at the door, and the real changes began. Raising the barriers around the Estate, the increasingly unstable wizard took his son hostage, trying frantically to find a way to escape the charges of murder being brought against him.
Somehow, Alex escaped his estate and ran away. Now the Hitwizards and Aurors could move in, sure there were no more hostages. Cedric was convicted of murdering his wife and sent to Azkaban. Alex was shuttled to a foster home for the remainder of the summer, until school started. Strangely enough, this was the last of the Ministry’s efforts towards his upbringing, he wasn’t placed in another foster home again, they seemed to forget the young Kameren.
Luckily, though some students attempted to bully him over the scandal, or painful memories brought to the fore by the very public trial of the former Death Eater Cedric Kameren, Alex soon put a stop to it, with help from his friend Cain. Alex did, however, acquire a reputation for fighting, and drew more inward. He didn’t wish to be hurt, so he avoided others.
He spent Christmas hols at Hogwarts, and the summer at Cain’s family’s, a place where he felt at home, yet still kept others at a distance. It was Mrs. Pierce who taught him to cook.
School went by quickly, and soon Alex was graduating, eighteen years old and ready to take on the world. He immediately went to the Ministry of Magic, where he signed up to be an Auror, passing the initial tests with flying colors. He was then given a mentor.
“Kristopher Kameren, here’s your new apprentice, Alecsander Kameren.” The secretary handed the older man a file, and they stood there, watching each other. Alecsander’s first impression of the man was that he was tall, with an uncanny resemblance to his father, though years younger. No one know’s what the Auror’s first impression was, though the first words he spoke, in an American drawl, were;
“Call me Curse, everyone does.”
It took a few months, for the Family Kameren records had been buried, and some things had been only known to Cedric, but both Kamerens came to relatively the same conclusion: they had to be brothers. This revelation wasn’t the most popular with the half-brothers at first, but they grew to accept it.
And as neither brother was particularly good with relationships, it turned out to be a rocky one. As he grew close to the second year of his apprenticeship, Cedric broke out of Azkaban. There began a long few months of chasing the wily, insane Kameren before they succeeded in tricking him into prison by switching him with Curse, who had been sent there on some trumped-up charge of murder and chaos, somehow relating to his life in Italy. Alex received a sectumsempra scar from his father during this time.
Curse spent a few months on the run before the Auror department managed to clear his name and he returned to work. Another year went by and Alex became a full Auror after passing the tests, set by the Head Auror and a senior named Stone quite easily.
The next year was relatively uneventful, until the disappearance of Curse. Some unknown enemy had captured him, enslaved his mind and then used him to invade the Ministry in July 2019. It was a dark time, and many died in that battle, including the Minister. It was here that Alex and Curse dueled, both closely matched because of their blood ties, and inflicted on each other a Sectumsempra scar that was mirrored on themselves, a blood curse of the Kamerens at work.
Somehow in the chaos, the masked attackers fled, taking their dead and injured with them. Curse remained behind. He seemed normal, until he tried to talk about what had happened to him. It took some serious work by Cain (now a strong Cursebreaker) and Alex (his brother, who knew his mind) to break the curse, but they succeeded. Curse spent time in Mungo’s mental ward to recover, and Alex took on more responsibilities at the ministry. When Curse got out in late spring, 2020, he decided to move to the Muggle world and search for a job there.
Alex hasn’t heard from him since, but the Aurors are very busy, a fact they are, currently, successfully hiding from the public. The public believes the riots have all been political. They have not, but if the Wizarding world at large knew this, even more chaos would erupt.
