Name: Eden Fletcher
Age:11/12
Birthdate/place: April 1st
Species: Human, halfblood
Gender:girl
Appearance:
Build/height- thin, 4'6
General Description-
One word to describe Eden physically is well, diminutive. At barely four-foot six, it's difficult to over look her vertical challenges. While she does show signs of a growth spurt soon, she is still undeveloped for her age group. Then again, Eden has always been petite. Born nearly four months early, she has never been a particularly strong child, plagued with strange fevers nearly her entire life. Despite her illnesses she has an abundance of energy and has the talent to seem to be everywhere at once. Although she is lacking in the height department she has an overabundance of blond curly hair that can't seem to decide if it wants to be curly or straight. The result is a birds-nest that some call endearing and others wish to attack with a hair brush. The shoulder length locks dance around her face, bringing attention to overly large pale blue green eyes. It was as if someone had only added a drop of color to her doe-like orbs. Actually, Eden is a rather pale child, despite the pinkish tint to her skin tone. Her golden hair is probably the most colorful thing about her besides her wardrobe, that is when she gets to choose it. Most of Eden's clothes are dark or neutral, pale colors, although she prefers jewel tones. It is very rare that she wears pants, preferring twirl worthy skirts and dresses.
Possessions- A locket that use to belong to her mother when she was a girl. It became hers because her grandmother thought a girl who could see would appreciate it more. She also has a few pictures of her family.
A small book of parchment is usually tucked somewhere on her person, a set of small self-inking quills strapped inside. It's filled with drawings and strange words from her visions.
Personality:
Temperment/Mental Attributes- Eden is a sweet child who will boldly talk to anyone. While her brother lacks confidence Eden has too much. She is rarely afraid, which can often lead her into trouble. Her happy, innocent charm is really a facade masking the dark knowledge that she knows. Eden knows what adults want from her. They wish her to match her looks, to be a cheerful sprite that is always looking for fun. At odd moments she suddenly becomes quite and is far more perceptive than she should be at her age. Eden is a sensitive child, attune to others emotions. A friendly soul it is hard for her to stay mad at anyone. Actually she can be far too forgiving, allowing herself to be hurt multiple times. As she grows older she is becoming more weary and at moments she can be quite wise, knowing that someone or something will hurt her, but she will help them anyways. She is a easygoing person who enjoys people. She is her happiest among others, listening and learning. She'd rather wait for problems to sort themselves out rather than seek out the solution. She is an intuitive person, doing things because it feels right or wrong not how practical it is. Often she takes the long way to do things because it is what felt right. She does not like being confined and often chafes against rules and punishment. Eden is like an expanding garden, fighting to break out beyond the garden walls.

Magical Skills-
Eden is the strongest Seer in at least two hundred years. She began to have true, strong visions at the age of seven but has had glimpses and sensations as a toddler. Her power is no where near control and often keeps her awake. Sometimes it manifests itself in her drawings. Only recently has the things she seen been "bad" or "dark". The age of growth in the wizarding world is at a stand still and Eden sees a shadow blocking the light of progress. She does not understand her gift and is trying to control it but it is hard. Her first major vision that had an impact was when she saw Alex Kameron attacked by demons.
Patronus- none as of yet.
Wand- holy, unicorn hair 11 and a half inches.
Goals/Aspirations- Optional
Other Information- At often random times, Eden develops fevers usually peaking with a vision. She is also discovering difficulty with magic, often her spells are too weak or too strong, causing what ever she is working on to explode. This is at it's worse when she is developing a fever.
History-
The Fletcher family had never been rich. Her parents were young lovers struggling to raise their young family. Eden is the last of their children born nearly four months early. Her early years are marred by sickness. A heart condition often leaves Eden with short breath.
Eden barely remembers her parents or the menial existence she had before living with her grandparents. Her earliest vivid memories are when she was four and she knew that her sister was in trouble. She didn't know how but she knew she had to go find Elianora. When asked about it later, Eden said a spirit led her to where her blind sister had fallen down the stairs.
Despite, strange moments like knowing something was going to happen before it did, Eden was a happy nearly normal child. Her friendly nature and persistence made her many a friend. She even wormed her way into her stern grandfather's heart. While he will never admit it to anyone his youngest grandchild is his favorite.
Eden is always floating somewhere meeting someone knew and illiciting their problems from them before they know what is happening. She has an uncanny ability to talk to a small child and then turn around and have an almost adult conversation with someone five times her age.
While Eden always had a strange ability to know what people were feeling she was not labeled a seer until she was seven. Elianora had tried waking the sleeping Eden but nothing was working. Eden had been asleep for the entire day and it was dinner time. Worried, a doctor was summoned. Nothing the doctor did would awaken the sleeping child. Heat radiated from
Eden as her eyes moved beneath her pale lids. For three days she slept, magic radiating off of her as she dreamed of the past, present and the future. At St. Mungo's Eden suddenly rose into the air a strange song flowing out of her mouth. She had been asleep for nearly three days. A department of mysteries personnel was dispatched. A prophecy was recorded, Eden labeled as a seer then she a woke. Crashing to the bed, the little girl was shaking, troubled by what she saw. A potion to control her gift was concocted but eventually she started having dreams again.
Many of Eden's drawings are actually pieces of visions that her imagination remembers but her active mind does not. Her next major vision did not occur until she was nine, nearly ten. She had seen someone breaking into the department of mysteries but did not know who. Her drawings were ignored, it was not well known that this little child was a powerful seer. After the break in the aurors believed her.
Eden is excited to begin school, although a bit apprehensive about people finding out that she can see the future. She wants to make many friends and to learn how to fly.
Transitioning into Hogwart's life was not easy for Eden. She developed many enemies and is often at odds with her Gryffindor housemates. Teachers have been told about her unique abilities, thus treating her differently. Her favorite class is potions due to the fact that it is the one area of magic that she can do without screwing it up. It doesn't hurt that she has developed a strong bond with Professor Curse Kameron. Eden idolizes the man and is jealous of his ten year old son Max who is slowly becoming Eden's only real friend at Hogwarts.
