Curse Kameren in Games Evil Plays...
Curse met Alex eyes evenly for a moment, silently asking him for a moment alone with his love. As soon as they were alone, Curse embraced her, burying his head in the nape of her neck. "I'm sorry," He murmured, though he wasn't sure what he was apologizing to her for. He had lost his son, was about to go out and do terrible things to get him back. Even if he didn't die in the process, Curse wasn't sure if he would come back the same man.

From Theo in We Fall Together:
"I made a vow to our family the day Mum and Da' made me a Harkness. I've stood by that vow, I live by that vow and I am not about to dishonour it. We protect those who can't protect themselves and we protect our own. Jack, look in a mirror. You fall in to both those categories. I swear on my life that I will take care of our family, but I can see to that while I'm watching over you. You can't stay awake forever. You can't run. You can't...you can't take care of yourself. If you leave, you'll gut the heart out of all of us and there will be nothing left to save. Please. Please, Jackie. Let's figure this out together. Mum didn't raise no dumb bauys." A slight and tired smile tugged at Theo's mouth as he warmly cupped his hand behind Jack's head and pulled his brother in close. Mosrael might have the benefit of a curse, but the brothers Harkness had the might of brotherhood.

From Lost But Not Mourned...
"He sighed, replacing the unused cigarette in his pocket as he pushed himself up. He should be with Alex, pureblood or not. Regardless of whether Curse and Cedric knew each other, Cedric Kameren was still Curse's biological father. And, though he knew it would be wrong to speak of, he could tell Alex was struggling a bit with the loss. Neither of them mourned, but somehow it was still complicated to come to terms with. About as complicated as their relationship, he supposed." - Curse Kameren
"Cedric Kristopher Kameren. He wasn’t always a bad man, but he was weak....He succumbed to the petty expectations of his elders and peers, and it broke him. He went mad...He could have been great, but all he was is a shadow, a copy. He had potential. He squandered it. The Kamerens are a proud line. So we have a right to be, but there are things that should never be sacrificed. Cedric was loved, briefly, for a time. But he threw it away to bow to other’s expectations, as weak men will. Rest assured, the Kamerens are still strong. I will not repeat my forefathers' mistakes.” - Alex Kameren

Echo in Shattered:
Something was bothering her, a feeling of confusion in the corner of her mind. Dark corners, filled with all of her fears. She was good at putting up walls, but not very good at facing what was behind them.

Theo: Writing 5 days a week with military service on the side. It would be win win.
For sure.

Curse in All Aboard:
Being a Head of House proved interesting as well, where his attention to covering his own relationship with the Ancient Runes Professor was cast aside so he could spend more time keeping the Ravenclaw students' relationships in check.
