I love the woman, but she is a bit out of her mind. She named me Allison Wonderland for crying out loud and then gave me the nickname Alice, which for some disturbing reason I love her for. I do worry that I'll continue her legacy and name my children something out there like Esmeralda or maybe...Toast? I have to thank her though, the Divinitations (the word is capitalized! She has most often been the mother to the girl, the shoulder she cried on and the woman that raised her. She is Allison's mother because she loves the girl and her sister can't do it. She is playing the same role she played long ago for her own sister. She hasn't married and doesn't have kids, she is unable to become pregnant. Age forty-eight.
Father: Justin Mahon a muggle and for all intents and purposes dead to Allison as well as Emily. He left when Allison was three, but not before assaulting Emily in a drunken haze. He hasn't been seen since then. Justin is a dockworker now and married, he has two kids that Allison doesn't know about. Age thirty-five.
Appearance:
Build/height- Allison isn't too much muscle, but she isn't fat either. A thin girl without any defining muscles per say. Allison is about 5'5.
General Description- Light green eyes filled with compassion and a desire to protect those that she calls friends. Hints of uncertainty and fear hide there along with undertones of strength and a bit of a temper when riled. A whirlwind of things hide behind these green eyes. Held in by long dark lashes, giving her a bit of a smoldering temptress look that she is typically unaware of. However she has been known to use it here and there for a little personal gain. Allison's eyebrows are thin and just a little bit higher than most, it gives her an almost perpetual surprise looked. It doesn't help that she typically arches them when she hears something interesting.
Allison has a mane of bright, but light, red hair with a strikingly unique strip of black hair that falls into her eyes. It’s flanked by two stripes of dark red that slowly fades to match the rest of her hair. Her hair reaches past her shoulders and is rarely tied back, she prefers the wild natural look. It does have a bit of a curl to it that often requires a bit of magic to straighten or get a brush through.
A fair skinned girl with freckles abound on her face. She wears them with pride never seeking to hide them. They go with her usually too wide smile.
Allison doesn't have much love for the wizarding world's love for dark flowing robes. When she can decide what to wear she prefers a pair of faded jeans that fit her slightly curved figure. A light colored blouse with long sleeves and has a bit of length, reaching past the waistline of her jeans. Comfortable clothing. She does have a love for heels which is easily seen in her clothing of choice. More often than not she is wearing heels, some of them being of the more adventurous design that take a mixture of grace and pure talent to walk in.
Jewelry is another thing she is a big on, mainly necklaces and pendants though. Rarely will you see her neck bare of some adornment. Earrings are another given for her, usually the type that dangle and occasionally catch her attention. That ends with her batting at them like a kitten bats at a ball of yarn. It’s rather cute, in an oddly dysfunctional way.

Allison isn't the most intimidating person. From a glance you'd think she is just a loud and occasionally obnoxious girl who likes to have fun. If you get on her bad side, which doesn't take as much work as you'd think, you'll find that she can be a rather vicious individual. If you rile her enough she'll throw insults and blows. When you manage to rile her the last thing on her mind is magic and the first thing on her mind is the muggle way of handling disputes, fist. She isn't an idiot though. If you take a wand out she won't hesitate to take out her own.
Allison has her short temper, but when you stay on her good side she is a rather enjoyable person to be around. She is typically that joyful and rather loud person that spreads cheer. This is when she is around friends or just acquaintances, people who haven't upset her in some way. Some call her a bit hyper. She tends to move around a lot not liking to sit still. She makes random observations and says things without thinking which tends to get her in trouble.
Allison is a bit of a party girl and a wild one at that. She doesn't let her party side mix with academics, but when she is outside of school or attending a party that isn't supposed to happen she tends to let go. The meaning of wholesome and appropriate dancing is something she is completely unaware of as well as moderation with drinking, She isn't the promiscuous type even when under the influence of alcohol though. That's one thing about her that stays the same regardless of her being sober or not. When it comes to relationships she is a tad bit on the conservative side. A hopeless romantic who doesn't want to wake up from a drunken night out on the town in a rather unladylike situation.

It’s not really her personality per say, but it is something she often does typically to freak people out that she can't stand. It’s more theatrical than realistic.
Rebellious-Respect authority figures? Don't make Allison laugh, they aren't worth even a thought. History-
Allison's first years of life weren't the happiest. Her parents were constantly arguing over this and that. Their relationship hadn't started on the greatest foundation. It had been based on addictions and high school romance. The two had expected everything to be picture perfect, but they found out early on real life didn't work that way. Their relationship ended badly. Allison and her mother being left on their own after the abusive man she'd called father departed.
Shortly after Emily, a woman without a penny to her name, went to her sister’s house begging for help. She was granted it, but under one condition. Emily had to reform and acquire a job .While Emily tried to get on her feet Allison spent most of her time with her aunt. Her aunt that eventually became the mother figure Emily couldn't be.
It was ironic. Lisa had played mother for Emily once upon a time when they’d been growing up. Lisa was the older sister and the one who had kept them both afloat during turbulent times. They’d been close then, but as they grew older they grew apart. It was thanks to a child that the two were reunited.
The years passed without much happening until she displayed her gift of magic. Allison was just sitting on the couch looking at a flower on the mantel that was slowly dying. It suddenly burst to life, a surprise to her as well as family. Her letter wasn't too far behind after the incident. Her mother took the news of her daughter being a witch better than Allison’s aunt did. Lisa was both shocked and rather unsettled. It took her a few weeks to recover from the shock and look at her niece without fear. It was unnatural in the eyes of a muggle. She realized as weeks passed that this power didn’t change her niece. Allison was still Allison regardless of what she was capable of.
Entrance into Hogwarts was both a wonderful and frightening thing. Early on she had to learn to balance the muggle world with the magical one. A harder task to do than one would think. There was also dealing with the prejudice against muggle-borns. It was a stressful first year for her, but she adjusted. That first year she was a timid girl who typically kept to herself and didn’t fight back against those who bullied her. She had a few friends in her house, but typically kept to herself.
As the years passed she became more comfortable with herself and became more outgoing. She also started fighting back. Her second and third year were spent primarily in the Headmaster’s office for fighting. Typically she was the winner, but she occasionally got herself landed in the hospital wing. It wasn’t an often occurrence, but it was enough times for her to realize it wasn’t a place she wanted to visit more than need be.
Her third year she started to accept her heritage and embrace it. She had felt a bit of shame from it, but that shame was no longer in existent. She was proud of it. Allison gladly admitted to being a muggle-born. She made it a personal goal to show those who had previously bullied her that she could match if not surpass their talents.
As the years passed Allison found out the joys of parties. Her world became two conflicting hemispheres. The night life and school. Night life became the more demanding of the two because of the type of partying she enjoyed doing. It didn’t go over well during class. Tired and with a hangover wasn’t the best way to learn. Something she quickly learned along with how to balance the two things in a way that she got the best of both.
Her final year at Hogwarts and the party girl has yet to set her eyes on the future. She is living in the moments of school instead of planning for the future. Why rush into things?

Strict as a nun and a lot nicer..sometimes. Glad to have her in the family dynamics I just wish she wasn't so...involved in my personal life. I haven't had a boyfriend since she chased the last one out with a bat. Not even a wizard is a match for an overbearing mother like figure who doesn't like her niece snogging at the age of sixteen. I still envy him though, he got chased with a bat I had to eat her cooking. Now that was cruel and unusual punishment. What is there to say? He left and never came back, that's the end of it. Can't say I don't wish he were still here. As the years passed she became more comfortable with herself and became more outgoing. She also started fighting back. Her second and third year were spent primarily in the Headmaster’s office for fighting. Typically she was the winner, but she occasionally got herself landed in the hospital wing. It wasn’t an often occurrence, but it was enough times for her to realize it wasn’t a place she wanted to visit more than need be.
Her third year she started to accept her heritage and embrace it. She had felt a bit of shame from it, but that shame was no longer in existent. She was proud of it. Allison gladly admitted to being a muggle-born. She made it a personal goal to show those who had previously bullied her that she could match if not surpass their talents.
As the years passed Allison found out the joys of parties. Her world became two conflicting hemispheres. The night life and school. Night life became the more demanding of the two because of the type of partying she enjoyed doing. It didn’t go over well during class. Tired and with a hangover wasn’t the best way to learn. Something she quickly learned along with how to balance the two things in a way that she got the best of both.
Her final year at Hogwarts and the party girl has yet to set her eyes on the future. She is living in the moments of school instead of planning for the future. Why rush into things?
