Mosrael's attack on Hogsmeade was the opening move to her war against the Ministry and good magic. The wizarding world is now aware that there is a new Dark Lady rising in the ranks of dark wizardry, though whether or not her campaign will be as terrible and long as that of Voldemort remains to be seen.
+ The Plot Thickens... +
There are several large plot events underway right now. Mosrael is controlling the Minister with a curse, and people are beginning to suspect their leader is not who they once elected.
--Curse and Arianna are researching someone named 'Daniel', a name that he saw in Mosrael's mind through the connection he has with her due to his old curse when she controlled his mind. Daniel is Ranna's brother, he died while they were at school. Once Curse and Ari uncover facts about Daniel, they will find the connection to the mystery of Mosrael's identity.
--Mosrael knows Curse is a threat, and to have leverage over him, she plans to kidnap Max. One night when Ralin, Ava and a Black Watch NPC are watching Max and the Kameren house, Mosrael and her minions storm the house and kidnap Max. She'll most likely take him to her HQ, a crumbling castle in the Scottish highlands.
--Theo is confronting Jack about suspicions that he's a puppet of Mosrael. He fears that members of the BW, and of the Ministry, will attack Jack without knowing the full facts, and put Jack and his family in danger. Theo is trying to shield Jack from recrimination. To better do this, he resigned from his post at Hogwarts.
--Maebh is recovering from her wounds at the hands of Mosrael, with Reckony and Conan watching over her (though there's some tension between them).
--Siara and the staff are trying to keep Hogwarts open for the new fall term while the general wizarding world is fighting rising fears about a new Dark Lady. She also feels that she needs to somehow unite the 'warrior' wizards and witches who will fight against this rising new threat, but isn't certain how.
--Elle is being stalked by someone, causing Alex to be very protective. Possibly it's Krellith - Mosrael's right hand man - because she suspects Elle has information about her brother Daniel.
--Ralin is trying to figure out everyone's agenda and to keep everyone connected somehow in the face of this threat, as well as how to help protect Hogsmeade and Hogwarts. He has taken Theo's position as instructor to help keep the school running.
--Echo and Cain work to try and figure out their respective issues by working together. Echo wants to help Curse with his task, but isn't certain how.
--Eden is worried about her brother, and may start her own search party, taking matters into her own hands.
--Scarlet has Emery in her possession, but is looking for someone else to use with the shadowstealer. Possibly with an eye on Elle as a healer for Emery.
--Nuriko is enjoying her summer vacation.
This is what I can recall so far, I also included the status of some characters, to kind of let you know where they are at this point in the plot. I don't know Curse's plans so far with Scar, so feel free to add comments below.
