I have two characters and I'd like to get them more involved in plots.
First, there's Jaxon or Professor Pietri. He's a former Hufflepuff, Muggle-born, Head of Hufflepuff House, Care of Magical Creatures professor, and has limited magical abilities due to a head injury. All in all, an easy-going guy, hiding a fiery temper.
Then there's Briallan or Professor Evans (completely unrelated to Lilly Evans). She's a former Slytherin, pure-blood, Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, and is well-endowed in spellwork, not to mention extremely prejudiced against Muggle-borns, half-bloods, and Squibs. Did I mention she's borderline-insane with a sneaky manipulative side?
For Briallan, I'm considering having her meet a student in her office for detention. The reason for detention can be real (like speaking out in class) or ridiculous (for having a lesser Blood-Status, covered up by a "real" reason). Any takers? I think that there would be much more drama if Briallan gave a Muggle-born, half-blood, or Squib detention for having a lower Blood-Status but saying it was for a different reason, like speaking out in class. It would be up to the student as to what they thought about the ordeal -- whether they thought the reason was legitimate or whether they saw right through her lie but can't prove it. |

OOOOOOHHHH Pick me pick me!
Eden's a half blood who is a seer (I believe the headmaster told the staff...or at least her teachers...). There could be some fun plots between these two....
Eden can totally be convinced that Professor Evans is insane...maybe even see a bit of her going crazy? Hahah she could totally run to Jaxon after escaping from a detention...what if Eden get's hurt some how (could totally be an accident) but she blames Professor Evans? Could be she's trying to kill me kind of thing!

Briallan is seriously nuts. Maybe Eden can 'see' something during class, which gives Briallan an excuse to give her detention for interrupting her class (when she's really just picking on her for being a half-blood).
Jaxon's door to his office is always open and he encourages students to stop by his office to talk, even if they don't have his class. Briallan already doesn't like Jaxon because he's a Muggle-born and is nearly a Squib, so she would be furious to see Eden running to him about her detention.
Would you want to play out the class in which it happens or skip to the detention and show the class through flashbacks? It's really all up to you; you can adjust anything as you see fit. :] |

yes! Eden can totally see something in class...she'll go all still...perhaps doesn't answer a question...eden see things rather than spits out rhyme prophesies. we could have her do a bit of both though, so she calls out in class, interrupting.... she'll get detention and maybe she sees something else...perhaps even draws it out and briallan sees it and threatens/interrogates eden. still in the throes of the vision she gets scared and hurts herself. she's then convinced that her teacher is out to kill her and she runs through out the castle trying to find an authority who will listen, curse can still be at the hospital so she goes to jaxon.
do you have a class thread? we can start it there and after a few posts we can do the detention thread. i dont mind having them at the same time.

I can make a class thread. I'll make it in a little bit. No other students truly need to be there -- they can all be NPCs. Jaxon will be furious too because he doesn't like Briallan any more than she likes him. |

In what way are you looking to have the CoMC Prof get into plots? I only ask because Kitsune is a...Kitsune...and is therefore classified as a "Magical Creature" though she has more than just the characteristics of an animal. Kitts looking for a Love interest/Family member/Best friend at this point, do you think that Jaxon would fit any of those billets? (I might add that Kitt is a nefarious trouble maker, and is always into something.  ) |
