Journal about Alex, rather than by him. Hmm. This should be interesting.
Facts:
Alex is 23 years old and has been working as an Auror for five years, three of which he was a junior Auror. He is the younger brother of Curse Kameren, and while he genuinely likes Curse, he gets easily frustrated by Curse's constant need to protect him, and Curse's stubbornness in not allowing Alex to help him. Alex is not used to being treated as a younger brother, in fact he's pretty unaccustomed to the whole family thing. And now he has a nephew. He's allergic to cats, a fact he discovered when he bought Tabby for Curse one Christmas and has regretted during the times that the cat's care falls to him. Alex lives in a run-down apartment house in a run-down part of town, but keeps his place neat and clean. He's pretty much socially inept.
He was hit by a Sectumsempra curse cast by his father. The scar just misses the joint of his left shoulder and extends a bit diagonally across his chest. Another pair of sectemspempra scars cross his body, on his lower left ribs and forearm and on his right shoulder. These were received in the battle at the ministry at the end of summer 2019. They are a result of the Blood-curse affecting the Kameren family, keeping one from hurting another lest the same happen to them, and were inflicted by himself and Curse.

"Kameren!" Theodore waved his arm excitedly, his hand holding something white, square, and rather wrinkled from his enthusiastic grip. "We got that warrant from the Wizengamot. We can go get that Valder witch now!”
Alex looked up laconically from the papers he was filling out. He was no stranger to paperwork, and familiarity was not breeding anything but a supreme dislike of the reams of it he always was working on. He was glad for the distraction and allowed his face to show it as he stood and gathered his cloak and wand. “Well go and get your junior, then.”
His own junior, Xaviera, wasn’t at work today. He frowned slightly as the thought triggered some concern. Hex’et was always at work, even through the times last year when she had been shuttled from Auror to Auror.
“Kameren!” Alex was jerked from his musings as James came up with his junior, a short, bulky lad with a stern face. Alex rubbed a hand over his face and waved the other in front of him. “Lets go.”
It had been a long and tiring chase, the Valder witch was more than someone with a vendetta against Muggles, she was a cunning and slippery opponent. The trio finally cornered her in an obscure alley in wizarding London’s south side. Alex lifted his wand, reciting a simple binding charm.
That was where everything went wrong.
There was a sudden squeeze, the three men felt the pressure as though they had been suddenly dropped into the deep ocean, but a split second later it was clear that it had only been a metaphysical pressure, they breathed normally, though all three had enormous headaches, and Alecsander felt as though someone had taken a pinch of his soul and twisted it. He felt nauseous. Nevertheless, he forced himself to advance with his wand, though there was nothing to guard against. The woman was just a pile of ash, still smoking, a great stench of burned flesh rising into the air.
Theodore’s apprentice retched, and continued until he was only dry heaving. Alex barely refrained from this, but he sat down rather quickly at a wave of vertigo. James Theodore shook his head, running a shaky hand through his hair and proclaimed that this was
“Not good. Definitely not good.”

Alecsander Malice Kameren?” The little man enquired, looking disapprovingly over his glasses.
Alex rolled his eyes. “Yes.” He growled, putting direct emphasis on the word. He glowered at the man, some sort of under-secretary for the minister. The man gave a disapproving scowl and filled out another part of the form. “Family… tradition.” Alex made an attempt at placating the man, all he wanted was to have this interview over with.
“Ahem. Yes, I see you have a brother named… Kristopher Curse Kameren.” the man turned to another page. He let the pages fall. “I will try to be as brief as possible, Mr Kameren.” He said crisply. “Have you ever broken any bones?”
Alex looked at his arm, which remained in a cast. “Never.” He drawled, drawing the word out as long as he could.
“Now Mr Kameren, there is no need to be difficult.” The man said, shifting his perch on the stool. Alex didn’t offer him a more comfortable seat. “We allowed you an extension on the Auror Revelation Act due to…” he paused, likely considering how best to word it. “extenuating circumstances.” he finished. “Now, please list for me the injuries you ‘acquired’ in your bout with the ‘demon.’” It seemed impossible to put so much doubt in such simple words, but the Under-Secretary managed.
Alex gritted his teeth, but began haltingly.
