She is a very creative mind, and her talents reach far beyond just writing. Shannon has great pride in her family and a ferocious temper if you speak ill of any of her loved ones.
However, the young reporter has a secretive side as well. She can lie and fake quite adeptly. Her bubbly and kind manner makes it easy to get away with her dishonesty. Because of this, Shannon holds many secrets.

-:: History/Background ::-
History: Shannon is the youngest of six children, four girls and two boys. Their parents, Liam and Wilhelmina O’Sullivan, were honest hard-working people, though they knew they had a great inheritance due to their strong O’Sullivan blood. They raised their children to be kind and polite, but never to back down when it came to their beliefs. The children had a happy childhood, with Shannon growing closest to her older brother, Gannon, who was closest to her in age.
Shannon was the one of two magic-carrying children in her family, so naturally she was the only one to visit Hogwarts. She prospered quite well there, specifically in Charms, Ancient Runes, and Magical History. She made a great many friends, but drifted away back into the muggle world after graduation.
Back in the muggle world, Shannon worked many odd jobs, writing and painting in her spare time. She lived happily with her large family, often blocking out or even forgetting about her other life in the Wizarding World.
Then, over the last few years, strange things started happening in the O'Sullivan family. Her brother Patrick's infant daughter died in her bed of seemingly no cause after a family dinner at Shannon's apartment. Her mother suddenly came down with an undiagnosable illness and died a month later. Two of her sisters were driving to pick Shannon up, and died in a car crash on the way there. Her closest sibling, her brother Gannon, was found dead one night less than a mile from his sister's home.
Shannon knows there's more to these deaths than simple chance. That's why the young woman has re-entered the wizarding world as a reporter, looking not only for the stories for the newpaper, but also the story behind her own life.
