Name: Antonin Imeda Kirov (Just call me Ant...)
Age: 15
Birth date/place: [15-4-2005] Tbilisi, Georgia
Species: 100% Human...
Gender: Male, no doubt about that.
Family:
Chiora Endzela Kirova, 46, Maid, Muggle
Ivan Antonin Kirov, 50, Plumber, Muggle
Mzea Chiora Kirova, 18, Student, Muggle
Antonin Imeda Kirov, 15, Hogwarts Student, Muggleborn
Appearance:
Build/height- Fairly skinny, absolutely no muscle mass what so ever. He is tall though, standing at 5'9 something he is immensely proud of.
General Description-
Antonin is a fairly pale young man, but not because he never ventures out of his own room, no it most likely has to do with genetics, at least, that is what Ant tells himself. He has dark brown curly hair that only accentuates his paleness even more. Ant's eyes are a dark hazel that are almost always accompanied by dark rings under neath them, as he never sleeps, or at least he doesn't sleep for very long. Always restless, his feet never seem to stop tapping and his body never stops moving, which is probably why Ant is stick thin, which is probably the thing he hates about his body the most. Never mind the constant paleness or the scars on his left leg from when he was burned in Tbilisi.
Clothing...Basically, he wears what is ever comfortable. But he does have his sense of style, even if it usually consists of him wearing his pajamas. Antonin likes to wear warm clothes, and rarely wears a T-Shirt. Despite the fact that wearing anything that is too constricting, he does wear his school uniform when he has to, even if he doesn't exactly like it very much, but Antonin rarely breaks the rules, something that he learned from a very young age.
Possessions- Ant is a little bit of a hoarder, nothing to bad, but it is a bad trait that his mother has been trying to break him of. He has an owl named Karl, named after the first person he met out of Georgia. Ant also has a scarf that his grandmother made for him when he was still in Georgia, he loves to wear it and normally starts wearing the scarf before anyone else even puts on a coat.
Personality:
Temperament/Mental Attributes-
~Awkward~
Ant is more than a little socially awkward, in fact, he is nearly all awkward. He doesn't know how to talk to people and his rather thick accent makes him self conscious of what he says. Ant is also nearly unable to pull of cool, or what he thinks is cool anyway. Being a Muggleborn, he was immersed in the Science Fiction and Fantasy category of life before he received his Hogwarts letter. Meaning he carries over his obsession with Lord of the Rings, Star Trek and Star Wars with him, not to mention his obsession with Comic Books. Because of this, even during his Muggle years, he wasn't very popular, and because of that, he never really learned how to fit in, even though he is more than fine to fit out of it.
~Curious~
Always one to poke his nose in everything, Ant can't let something slip past his knowing. He wants to know everything about everything, and even though that is an impossible goal to reach, Ant still tries in vain to reach said goal. He is very full of questions, and asks them to a point of almost being annoying, which is probably why most people tend to stay away from him. But he is more than okay with that, even if he does sometimes want to have a friend or two.
~Hyper~
In every sense of the word Ant is both physically and mentally hyper. For the mental aspect, Ant can't stop thinking and as a result of that, Ant has a rather messed up way of thinking, he does come to the conclusion that he is trying to reach, but it normally takes him a little while to reach it.
~Odd~
Ant just is. There isn't any other way to put it, and that normally is a turn off for potential friends. He doesn't have a very good judgment system when it comes to what is acceptable and what isn't. Ant will do really what ever he pleases, and just likes to be in his own world, even though he does feel the stares, he normally just pretends that he is Clark Kent, and everyone is just seeing a mild mannered news reporter, He really is wearing Spandex underneath his suit... Not that Ant would wear a suit.
Alliance- He doesn't really stick to one side of a coin, preferring to try and live on the edge of it. But seeing as he is a muggleborn, it is more than likely that he will have to side with those who don't dislike him for his blood status.
Alignment- Neutral
Strengths/Weaknesses-
Obscure Facts ~ Always one to know something, Ant can't help but blurt out what he thinks in just about any situation, the problem with this is mostly that he has shining moments and some moments where his facts turn out to make his house loose points.
Dueling ~ The only thing that has really earned him any credit. Ant is a very fair dueler, perhaps because he is just...well, no there isn't really a reason why he is skilled, other than the fact that he practices nearly everyday.
Public Speaking ~ Put him in front of a crowd, and expect Ant to be sick. The man isn't the most outgoing of anyone in his year, but he is able to normally worm his way out of speaking during any public event, much to his liking.
Food ~ If anything is placed in front of Ant, he will devour it. It doesn't matter if it is nearly inedible, as long as he can't get sick off of it, expect it to be gone. Ant however, is an impossible cook and so he normally tries to mooch off of others, which is probably why Ant can be found in the Kitchens with all of the house elves.
Employment&Education:
-Students-
House- Hufflepuff
Year- 5th Year.
OWLs/NEWTs- He hasn't taken them yet, but he is more than a little nervous for them, and has taken up most of his free time studying... Okay, he has taken up some of his free time studying.
Other:
Magical Skills- An Amazing Duelist (in his opinion) and a particularly good student in Arithmancy.
Patronus- Much to Ant's embarrassment, he can't seem to have his patronus take shape, rather it simply stays in the form of a shield.
Wand- 11 inches, Yew, Dragon Heartstring
Goals/Aspirations- To be totally honest, Ant really just wants to be more successful than his parents. Which, while not very hard, is still something that he dreams to accomplish.
History-
Chiora and Ivan met in Georgia, the country, not the state in the colonies as Ant always has to point out. But while the Russian man and the Georgian woman fell in love their countries decided to hate the other and Ivan Kirov and Chiora Bedushi were married, and moved to the capital of Georgia, in hopes to avoid the mounting tension. While there, the two had a daughter, and a few years later, had a son. Because of that, the family decided to move, however, they had to scrape up enough money to even leave the country and managed to come up with the cash in a relatively short time for a family of four with only one university diploma, it took them nine years. So when they finally packed up their bags and left, Ant left behind a plethora of memories, from his childhood to being an adult, or a young adult...or a nine year old.
When Ant was five, he met his first friend, Karshe. Karshe was a small, even smaller than Ant at the time, and gaunt young boy who could barely run a minute before wheezing. But to Ant, he was the best person ever. They became quick friends and managed to find their safe haven in the civil war that was looming outside of their city walls, and that was comics. For Karshe and Ant, comics were not just something to pass the time with, it was a way of life for the two and even when the unthinkable happened, Ant still had the comics.
Karshe left. Just left and even though Ant looked around for him, he couldn't seem to figure out where he had left. So Ant just pretended that he went to the Justice League. Which when his mother had asked why he wasn't hanging out with Karshe, Ant had simply responded with, " I can't, he is probably training with Batman."
When Ant was eight he met his fraternal Grandmother. Marina, a small and red haired woman who had the loudest voice that Ant had ever been in the presence of. And he absolutely loved her, she was the most amazing person he had ever been in the presence of and for once, she paid attention to him, or at least mostly him. She taught him...well nothing, but Ant loved her, more than anything and even though his father tried to explain to him that she was only there for a week, Ant didn't want to even think of that. But the day that Marina left she gave him his most prized possession, it was even better than his first ever issue of the X Men. It was a bright orange scarf that was possibly done in such a rush that it was more flawed than anything that Ant owned, and that was precisely why it was perfect.
At nine, Ant left Tbilisi behind and entered the wonderful world of the English speaking nations. His parents choosing Wales as their place of residence, Ant deceided that it would be more than perfect. It was double perfect, because it was named after an animal, and in his opinion, that was brilliant.
And so, everything was normal for a year at least. Ant and the rest of the family learned how to blend in with Welsh society and managed to pull off a middle class style of life. But the moment an owl came and delivered at letter saying that Ant was a Wizard, he couldn't help but feel slightly dissapointed. He really had wanted to be a superhero, not a Wizard. But still, after their initial confusion and denial passed, the Kirov's knew about the Wizarding World, and their son, Antonin Kirov was now one of them.
Hogwarts was his escape, it was beautiful and just purely awe inspiring and it made Ant feel more than special. He felt powerful and wealthy and for some reason, he felt like a superhero. After being sorted, Ant became an outsider, not that he minded that, he was just...well, Ant was simply being himself, not that he didn't attract some friends, after all no one is without some company. And one thing he was more than confused about was the need to have identification cards, because as Ant's memory served him, normally people only needed identification cards in times of war or trouble, and as far as Ant could tell, everything seemed fairly fine. Being the curious student he is, he set his mind to understanding just why they needed the cards and the limited floo powder. And when Ant sets his mind on something, he rarely changes it.
Now in his fifth year, Ant simply wants to be the best he can be, wanting to make more friends and perhaps, become popular... That is something that Ant can barely fathom and despite the fact that he is a little odd, he does want to have what every teen wants, popularity.
