Name: Scarlet is her only name, any surname has been long since forgotten.
Age: 31
Birthdate/place: 22 of May, 1990. Her accent is slightly Welsh, so it is assumed she is from there.
Species: Witch
Gender: Female
Family: It is rumored that Scarlet is the last entirely pure-blooded member of the Lestrange bloodline.
Appearance:
Height + Build: Scar stands just above 5'2", but her personality and way of carrying herself makes he appear much taller. She is a wisp of a woman, with a tiny waist and bony limbs. This skinny appearance shows up everywhere on her body, from her arms and legs to her face, where there are dark hollows beneath her eyes and protruding cheekbones held together by her heart-shaped jaw line.
Eyes: Black.
Hair: Scar's hair is stark black, chopped a few inches below her shoulders with long bangs. Her hair is constantly in her face with wisps of it constantly flowing back and forth.
Physical Attributes/Description: Scarlet carries herself with an age far beyond her years, with a confidence that can cut even the strongest man. She is shameless in every sense of the word, and her looks and general demeanor will never let you forget it.
What can really cut a person about Scarlet, though, is her voice. A sultry-sweet alto with a raspy twinge to it, Scarlet's voice is most intimidating at the lowest whisper.
Clothing: Scar's clothing is generally whatever is available to her. She wears a lot of loose-fitting robes, generally a few years behind the current style.
Personal Items: Her apartment, in a ramshackle building a few buildings down from Borgin & Burke’s above Knockturn Alley, is filled with books about many subjects of the Dark Arts.
Scarlet carries a rather large assortment of knives and sharp, small weapons, as well as an extensive range of poisons. She doesn't approve of the Killing Curse. She finds it too quick; there's nothing enjoyable in a sudden death, when you can watch the light slowly leave their eyes.
Personality:
Temperment/Mental Attributes-
Scarlet is terribly intelligent and deathly cunning. She talks to everyone like a child, as every human life is only a plaything to the witch. She has no need for compassion or empathy; she finds these compulsions weak, and finds those who practice them insane. Her disregard for other people doesn't mean she can't put on a pretty face, however; she can be quite sweet when she wants to be, and when called upon to do so, can perform socially. She thinks differently than the rest of society, and doesn't see herself as human. Whether she's something above human or below it in her eyes is unknown.
Many are intimidated by the dark young woman because it is very difficult to tell who, exactly, Scarlet is from day to day. At one point, Scarlet will be a troubled yet kind (albeit extremely eccentric) young woman who grew up with the wrong people and was taught the wrong ways. Any other time, however, Scarlet is the devil. She is fearless, remorseless, and unspeakably cruel. She can kill on a whim, and causes pain for enjoyment. She reveres pain as divinity; pain is the purest, most honest feeling one can have in Scarlet's eyes. Everything else is a lie.
She is an existentialist at heart. She believes in nothing but herself, depends on nothing. Having no belief in any sort of afterlife or divine experience, Scarlet doesn't put any value into material things. All we have is our minds and our actions, in the end, and Scarlet uses both viciously. She is incredibly impulsive; without thinking, Scarlet will act on any whim that happens to pass her by. Scarlet doesn't believe in any leaders and doesn't follow anyone willingly, though if there is a debt she needs to repay, she will repay it.
The way Scarlet carries herself is like a dance. The clumsy movements may look odd, but it's because of something internal; Scarlet has a constant music playing in her head. It's always the same wobbly, lazy tune. Scarlet believes it has been in her since childhood, as long as she can remember. Many believe she has been driven mad by it.
Scarlet possesses a strange sort of telepathy; to only certain people, she can have a pure, intimate mental connection. No occlumency or mental barriers can keep her back from these people. She sees everything, knows them inside and out. Though she wouldn't recognize it or admit it if she did, this intimate connection changes Scarlet. Seeing someone else's life and experiences bonds her to them, makes them her family. It's the closest to being human Scarlet has ever experienced, and once she connects to someone, she needs them.
She has only ever had this connection twice: once with a young Hufflepuff second year she crossed in the street, who was overwhelmed by the connection and was destroyed. The other was her prisoner, Cain Pierce.
